About the Position:
The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking to hire an Agency Management Analyst Senior in our Criminal Justice Information Services Division at our Administrative Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The successful candidate will function as the business administrator and analyst for the License Plate Recognition data collection and will coordinate with the Information Technology Division (IT) concerning the Data Warehouse, enhancements, and support. Limited travel would be required to local law enforcement agency's locations to facilitate training.

Minimum Qualifications
•Working knowledge of law enforcement investigative and evidence practices and procedures; of data collection techniques and statistics; of policy analysis, research, and evaluation techniques; and of adult training methods.
•Skill in the use of personal computers; in Microsoft Office application; and in automated reporting tools.
•Demonstrated ability to conduct research and apply appropriate analytical and evaluative techniques; to formulate conclusions and provide recommendations; to analyze and interpret policies and procedures; to teach and train others and to develop supporting materials; to conduct needs assessments and create required documentation; to review reports; to enter, research, and retrieve data; to compile data for various reports; to manage program administrative details; to work independently and as a member of a team; and to communicate effectively in English orally and in writing with staff, agency officials and the public as required.
•Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Additional Considerations
•Previous experience supporting a law enforcement related application and data collections highly preferred.
•Experience as a user support person for an enterprise software application required. Knowledge of NDEx, LInX, and Incident Based Reporting requirements preferred.
