I am working with a client who is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Temporary Receptionist to provide short-term cover. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, thrives in a people-facing environment, and can handle a variety of administrative and reception duties with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warmly meet and greet all visitors, clients, and staff
2. Answer and redirect iing calls promptly and professionally.
3. Manage the reception inbox and provide general administrative support
4. Handle deliveries, organise collections, and maintain the reception area
5. Ensure visitor logs, passes, and security procedures are followed correctly
6. Assist with ad‑hoc tasks to support the wider office team as required
About You
7. Prior reception or front-of-house experience is desirable.
8. Excellentmunication and customer service skills
9. Confident, well-presented, and able to remain calm under pressure.
10. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
