Express Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established construction contractor based in Leicester. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team and play a pivotal role in cost management for a range of construction projects across Leicestershire.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender submissions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Manage project budgets, cost control and contract administration to maintain financial accountability
* Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to build relationships and support seamless project delivery
* Monitor and process subcontractor payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Provide regular cost reports and financial insights to support decision-making and project success
* Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and strategies to drive company growth
Skills & Experience
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimise project performance
* Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams
* Proficiency in using estimating and project management software/tools
* Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Ambition and leadership potential, with a long-term view towards senior management and directorship
