Professional Requirements
* The position is offered to a GDC registered UK trained qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of one year experience in UK dental practice although consideration will also be given to a newly qualified candidate.
* Comprehensive knowledge of infection control protocols and CQC requirements
* Excellent communication skills and patient-centred approach
* Knowledge of Dental Implants, Orthodontic and Dento-alveolar surgical procedures will be a recommendation but training will be provided in the absence of such knowledge
Key Responsibilities
* Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
* Manage sterilisation processes and clinical inventory
* Support patient care and education with an empathetic and compassionate approach
* Assist with radiographic examination
* Assist with intraoral 3D photographic scanning
* Maintain cleanliness of all aspects of the surgery and the decontamination room
* Maintain accurate patient records using computer systems
* Willingness to support reception and administrative duties as needed
* Eagerness to learn and study new techniques
