This is an exciting and uniqueopportunity for the right candidate to lead on the development of a diverseportfolio of businesses, with potential for the successful candidate to extendthe scope of the role as the businesses develop and grow. Enjoying attractivesales led incentives aligned to their success there is also scope to drive theestablishment of new enterprises to expand our trading arm portfolio.
The role will initially beresponsible for three trading businesses:
CAMS-Care UK: the establishedand trusted CAMS-Care Training Framework committed to the prevention andreduction of suicidality
RESPECT Training: used ineducation and health and social care settings to prevent, de-escalate andmanage behaviours of concern
Grimsby Garden Centre:a thriving site with a celebrated café, which also supports skills, trainingand employment opportunities for people with mental health problems in NorthEast Lincolnshire.
Main duties of the job
As theCommercial Manager, responsibilities will include:
Settingof Commercial Strategy, including sales and marketing strategies for eachbusiness and being responsible for their implementation with regular monitoringto ensure all targets are exceeded.
Negotiatingand overseeing contracts
Identifyingand securing new business. Providing commercial insights, driving profitablegrowth and supporting the delivery of the businesses long-term goals
Overallresponsibility for the Commercial Profitability of the identified businessesand exceeding those set targets and budgets

Job responsibilities
ROLE SUMMARY IN DETAIL:
As the commercial manager, youwill be responsible for leading and supervising the team of 3 Business Managersworking for each of the businesses. Youwill work with the managers to lead the development of robust and ambitiouscommercial strategies for each business and ensuring these are delivered inline with the agreed delivery plan timescales.
You will be committed toidentifying and securing new customers, clients and suppliers to ensuresuccessful delivery of the commercial strategies. You will provide regularupdates to the Business Development Sub-Committee of the parent company,Navigo, to provide updates on the delivery of the commercial strategies andincome targets.
You will be responsible foridentifying synergies between the business and implementing economies of scaleand opportunities for partnership working where appropriate. You will lead thedevelopment and implementation of successful marketing campaigns to raise theprofile of the businesses, increase the customer footprint and maximiseprofitability.
Working with partners atNavigo, you will generate ideas, provide advice and input into new trading armbusiness opportunities and engage in the business case development and newbusiness roll out. This will include the opportunity to further grow the commercialteam capacity to support the growth in the trading arm businesses
