Commercial Director – Branded Food Manufacturing Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid) QLM Search are partnering with a high‑growth, branded food manufacturing group to appoint an outstanding Commercial Director to lead the next phase of strategic and commercial development.
This is a pivotal executive role, responsible for shaping and delivering a best‑in‑class commercial agenda across marketing and sales, driving both brand equity and revenue growth in highly competitive markets.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the full commercial strategy, with accountability for both world‑class brand building and high‑performing sales execution. This role requires a rare blend of strategic marketing excellence and proven sales leadership, with the ability to translate insight‑led brand strategies into tangible commercial outcomes.
You will lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams across marketing, category, and sales, ensuring alignment behind a clear growth vision and delivering sustainable, profitable expansion across key channels.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the overall commercial strategy to accelerate growth across domestic and international markets
Lead the marketing function, elevating brand positioning, innovation pipelines, and consumer engagement
Integrate marketing and sales into a cohesive, insight‑driven commercial engine
Identify and unlock new growth opportunities, including new markets, channels, and product categories
Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing commercial organisation
Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Commercial Director / Sales & Marketing Director within branded food or FMCG
A world‑class marketer with a track record of building and scaling successful consumer brands
Equally strong in sales leadership, with experience leading sizeable commercial teams and delivering consistent growth
Deep understanding of retail dynamics, category management, and customer strategy
