Purpose of the Position
The Production Operative is responsible for setting up and operating machines within the Fabrication Department, ensuring high-quality production of parts while maintaining accurate factory management system records.
Scope of Role
You will assist the Fabrication Supervisor in day-to-day operations, focusing on safety, production, quality, and cost efficiency. Your role is key to producing high-quality products and supporting continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
1. General and Task Management

Set machines and control fabrication cycles to achieve production targets and quality standards.

Adjust machine settings as required to maintain output quality and efficiency.

Follow all safe working practices and standard operating procedures.

Identify non-conformance and contribute to corrective measures.

Participate in basic preventative maintenance to maximize machine availability.
