The Role:
As Audit Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, Partners, and junior staff. You'll manage a portfolio of audit clients, review work, coach and develop your team, and ensure top-quality delivery in line with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients (largely owner-managed businesses and SMEs)
* Oversee audits from planning to completion
* Lead, mentor and develop junior audit staff
* Review work and ensure technical compliance and high-quality standards
* Build and maintain excellent client relationships
* Liaise directly with Partners and clients on strategic matters
About You:
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
* Confident managing a client portfolio and leading audit teams
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
