Description
We are hiring for our client, a respected construction business based in Derry, who are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead their Safety, Health, Environment and Quality function.
This is an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to take ownership of safety standards, compliance, and continuous improvement across diverse projects. Working closely with senior management and site teams, you’ll drive a proactive culture of safety and ensure compliance with industry best practice and legislation.

The Role
* Develop and implement SHEQ policies and procedures ensuring compliance with current legislation
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures
* Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to promote awareness and accountability
* Maintain accurate records of safety performance, training, and audit findings
* Collaborate with site teams and management to drive continuous improvement in SHEQ standards
* Keep up to date with evolving legislation and industry best practice
The Person
* NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification
* Strong background in the Construction Industry
* In-depth knowledge of SHEQ regulations and compliance standards
* Proven experience conducting investigations and root cause analysis
* Excellent communication and report writing skillsConfident leading safety initiatives and training programmes
