Imagine earning a full-time salary while working only half the year. Sounds like a dream, right? My client are looking for a dedicated Equine Vet to join their OOH team.
Why This Role Stands Out
The work-life balance is unparalleled. You will be part of a week-on, week-off rota, meaning you’ll only be working half the year. This arrangement allows you to enjoy extended periods of personal time, perfect for those who value both their professional and personal lives. Additionally, the practice offers the flexibility to earn extra income by providing locum cover during the day if desired.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an integral part of the team, you will handle approximately 50% of the first call out of hours rota, alternating weeks with another experienced Vet. You will always have the support of a second on-call Vet, ensuring you are never alone in critical situations. The role is predominantly ambulatory, but you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities including stabling, a surgical suite, and advanced diagnostic equipment like DR, ultrasound, and videoscopes.
Skills and Experience
While experience is valued, the right fit for the team is paramount. Whether you are a certificate holder, currently studying for one, or simply passionate about equine care, your professional development will be encouraged with funded CPD and ample growth opportunities.
