Role

About the role:

As a Senior Consultant in Value Communications at RJW & Partners, you will lead the design and delivery of high-quality materials that communicate the clinical and economic value of new medicines to payers and decision-makers.

The role involves ownership of projects from end to end, including the development of Global Value Dossiers, payer value stories, and objection handlers, as well as contributing to wider initiatives such as advisory boards, negotiation training, and payer engagement programmes.

You will also act as the primary client contact, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with objectives. In addition, the role includes mentoring colleagues, supporting proposal development, and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead on strategic content, structure, and development of value communications materials, including:
o Global Value Dossiers (GVDs)
o Payer Value Stories
o Objection Handlers
* Project manage value communication assignments, including resource planning and delivery oversight, ensuring outputs meet the highest standards and deadlines.
* Act as the primary client contact on value communication projects, building and maintaining trusted relationships
* Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to team members and freelance writers, ensuring consistent quality across deliverables.
* Deliver training and guidance to consulting staff on value communication best practices.
* Provide strategic support across wider market access projects (e.g., advisory boards, payer discussion programmes, negotiation training).
* Contribute to proposals and client pitches, supporting business growth

About the person:

* Strong understanding of value communication, market access and pricing in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
* Awareness of global healthcare systems and payer landscapes, particularly in the EU, UK, and US.
* Understanding of scientific writing principles and how to present clinical and economic evidence effectively.
* Ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects to deadlines, including resource and capacity planning.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; confidence in leading client meetings and acting as the primary contact.
* Excellent ability to structure and produce high-quality scientific and strategic content, including global value dossiers and payer narratives.
