Location: Hellaby (Home of KP Nuts - our specialist nut factory)
Work Environment: On-site
Shift Pattern:
44 weeks of the year: 3-shift rotation - 5 days per week (06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00) - Night shifts run only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
8 weeks of the year: 24/7 shift rotation - 2On/2 Off – 3On/2 Off – 2On/3 Off - 12 hour shifts (06:00 - 18:00, 18:00 - 06:00)

Your Role:
* Reactive Maintenance: Responding effectively to breakdowns.
* Coaching: Training Equipment Owners (EOs) in engineering principles and maintenance tasks.

Your Responsibilities:
* Lead Proactive Maintenance: Collaborate with Maintenance Leads to deliver Planned Maintenance tasks effectively.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve defects, participating in loss elimination planning.
* Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Support EOs through coaching and training.
* Make a Measurable Impact: Own IWS performance for your area and contribute to Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings.
* Develop Technical Expertise: Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Progressive Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) systems.

What We’re Looking For:
If you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and experience, we’d love to hear from you:
* Strong Engineering Knowledge: NVQ level 3, multi-skilled experienced engineer (with 18th Edition qualification) is essential.
* Technical and Coaching Skills: Expertise in mechanical and electrical processes, along with strong communication abilities.
* Relevant Experience: Prior experience in an engineering role, ideally within FMCG, with proficiency in IWS.
* Aligned with KP Values: A can-do attitude, openness to change, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
