About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Islington to take the commercial lead on an office-to-residential conversion valued at over £18m. The scheme involves transforming an existing commercial building into 120 modern apartments, a complex, technically interesting project with plenty of scope to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of the project
*
Prepare cost plans, valuations, variations, and financial reports
*
Manage tendering, subcontractor packages, and procurement strategy
*
Lead contract administration using JCT forms
*
Maintain accurate cost control and produce monthly project reporting
*
Work closely with design, technical, and site teams to support successful delivery
*
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
About You
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential or office-to-resi conversion projects
*
Confident handling schemes £10m+
*
Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills
*
Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating within a wider delivery team
*
Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in a fast-paced urban project environment
