We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable colleagues with Health and / or Social Care experience who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion, and empathy. The wards at St Lukes Hospital in Market Harborough are led by nurses, and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team.
The wards provide sub-acute care, palliative care, and complex rehabilitation, with Ward 1 specialising in stroke care. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate if you do not already hold it, and we actively encourage ongoing development. The post will involve working on a rota basis over a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week service.
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking clinical observations and providing delegated clinical care.
2. Supporting patients in maintaining their health, well-being, and independence.
3. Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting/continence care.
4. Accurately recording patient information.
5. Working collaboratively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
