Electrical Services Manager – Edinburgh We are seeking to appoint an experienced Electrical Services Manager to join our team in Edinburgh on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offering a competitive salary, together with a performance-related bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance and service delivery of all staff, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the provision of an effective, efficient, and compliant maintenance service. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of statutory and regulatory obligations. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities for buildings, plant and equipment using the Maximo system. Manage and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery of a cost-effective and high-quality service. Ensure all response and rectification times are achieved in accordance with contractual requirements, with works completed diligently and without undue delay. Monitor and review performance through regular meetings with staff, subcontractors and suppliers. Maintain responsibility for the safety and integrity of building fabric, and mechanical and electrical plant and equipment. Ensure the operational integrity of all electrical systems, including HV, LV, lighting systems, and other critical electrical infrastructure. Ensure full compliance with all statutory standards, regulations, and Department of Health requirements. Promote and maintain robust health and safety standards across all activities.
