Helpdesk Support

Contract - 3 months

Livingston - Onsite (5 days per week)

A new, short-term IT Helpdesk Contract has just arisen with a well-known Client of ours.

We're on the lookout for a hands-on, tech-savvy problem solver to work with our Client, keeping their IT systems running smoothly and helping to resolve technical issues that arise. The successful candidate will be a go-to person for deskside & remote support, user & systems admin, hardware fixes, software updates, and all things network-related.

Key tasks & responsibilities will include:

* Supporting users across head office and remote sites
* Managing hardware (PCs, laptops, printers etc)
* Keeping software and systems up to date and secure
* Troubleshooting network and connectivity issues
* Handling tickets and making sure issues get sorted fast

And to be successful, we're seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience:

* Demonstrable knowledge & experience working in a similar IT Helpdesk Support, Service Desk Support or IT Support role
* Solid Windows (Win 7/10/11, Server 2008/2016) & Microsoft Office (2016/O365) knowledge/experience
* Networking basics (TCP/IP, etc.)
* Someone proactive & reliable with excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills
* Someone with excellent communication & internal customer service skills
