Salary InfoStarting Salary – £30,600 (realistic OTE: £37,000)After Probation (26 weeks) – £32,000 (realistic OTE: £38,500)After 2 Years – £34,000 (realistic OTE: £40,500)About the RoleAs a Driver's Mate for TPA, you will work closely with the driver as part of a two-man team, delivering, installing and collecting portable roadways in a variety of different settings across the UK.As part of the role, we provide full training and a clear pathway to becoming a Class 1 Driver on our state-of-the-art vehicles. All you need is a full UK Driving Licence to apply for this role.We are not looking for temporary workers, full time permanent commitment is required.Key ResponsibilitiesMust enjoy being on the road and working outside in all weathersUse the lorry loader crane to install and recover our unique range of temporary roadway productsProvide our customers with appropriate familiarisation of equipmentCarry out weekly vehicle, trailer & crane cleaning procedureMap read and plan routes in discussion with the DriverEnsure that paperwork is accurately completedIdentify and record all damaged stock correctly with the driverCarry out a weekly vehicle stock-checkEnsure health & safety for you and others in the working areaIn addition to the above:Must be comfortable spending time away from home, Monday to FridayWeekend overtime availableWhat We're Looking ForNo experience or qualifications are required other than a full UK Driving Licence, as we provide all necessary trainingSomeone who wants a genuine long-term careerA good level of physicalfitness (due to the demanding nature of the work on site)A flexible can-do attitudeA keen eye for safe workingReliable and enjoy an honest day's workPractical mindsetTPA work on many sensitive sites in the defence, nuclear and civil service sectors and operate a rigorous drugs and alcohol testing policy.
