Vacancy: Office Manager - Partner Primary School in Bury Location: Bury Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (September 2025 - January 2026) Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (including a 30-minute lunch break) Start Date: September 2025 We are seeking a highly organised and professional individual to join our partner primary school as Office Manager on a full-time basis, to cover the current postholder's long-term leave. Role Overview: The Office Manager will be the primary point of contact for parents, staff, visitors, and external agencies, ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative processes, supporting the organisational needs of the school, and maintaining effective communication across all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the daily operations of the school office Handling correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and safeguarding procedures Supporting administrative staff and senior leadership as required Assisting with pupil enrolment, attendance, and other administrative duties Creating a welcoming and professional environment for visitors and staff Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in an administrative or managerial role, ideally within a primary school setting Excellent organisational and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office; experience with BROMCOM is advantageous but not necessary Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills Discretion and understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding protocols Monarch Education are proud to be a leading recruitment specialist in the Education industry.
