Position Details
Location: Crick NN6 7ED, Warrens BDC
Type: Full-time, permanent
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 18:00-04:00
Salary: £30,592 + £2,000 night allowance
Responsibilities
1. Lead site Health & Safety culture.
2. Train MHE staff on FMS system.
3. Support site inductions for MHE/manual handling.
4. Assist with risk assessments and safe working practices.
5. Deliver high-level technical training using various methods.
6. Ensure training is completed and documented per policy.
7. Develop skills matrix and ensure refresher training.
8. Manage MHE operators’ skill levels and reduce risks.
9. Conduct workplace assessments and refresher training.
10. Investigate incidents and accidents.
11. Develop learning from experience briefings.
12. Create safe systems of work and risk assessments.
13. Identify hazards and implement control measures.
14. Review safety audit GAP analysis.
15. Coordinate with management on training needs.
16. Contribute to safety and training team efforts.
17. Compile data for KPI and reports.
Qualifications
* ITSSAR Category 1 instructor/examiner.
* Attention to detail and team player.
* Ability to work independently and under deadlines.
* Flexible with work and shift patterns.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
