About the Role:

Make a real difference in a thriving mining environment!

2. Leverage your expertise to advise on strategies that maximise the value of our mine resources.

3. Create precise pit designs and associated ore/waste extraction plans.

4. Develop initial rehabilitation profiles and final landscaping designs, contributing to responsible mining practices.

5. Effectively communicate mine plans and schedules to stakeholders across all levels.

6. Assist in the development of long-term (Life of Mine), medium-term (36-month rolling), and short-term (up to 12-week) plans.

7. Provide detailed performance analysis against the annual plan for the mine site.

What’s on offer:

8. Career development opportunities to pursue your passion

9. Monthly Leisure Day

10. Performance related bonus (variable)

11. 16 weeks paid parental leave scheme

12. Paid annual volunteer hours

13. Social and diversity focused engagement opportunities

What you can bring to the role:

14. Ideally you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mine and Engineering Surveying, or a closely related field, coupled with demonstrated experience working in large open-cut mining environments.

15. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and driving continuous improvement.

16. Proficiency in mine planning CAD (ideally Surpac or something similar).

17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary technical teams.

18. Strong team player with the ability to communicate clearly across all organisational levels and tailor content/reports to the audience.
