About The Role
In this instance we are recruiting into delivery who design, develop and maintain the web-apps used to deliver content to consumers. Making use of react, typescript and node.js work is not limited to the framework but to the content within and should include the development of modular components that can accommodate the breadth of the function’s deliverables.
Specifically we’re after a Senior Full Stack Developer who must develop modular web components enabling both user input and analytical interrogation. You’ll need a strong coding background and a knack for DevOps and Cloud infrastructure.

Introduction to the London Digital Hub (LDH)
LDH a remit across MS&AD group and its subsidiaries the team works to deliver best in class data solutions by working in tandem with other specialist functions including Pricing, Exposure, Reserving, Underwriting and Claims.
There are two core disciplines: Engineering - tasked with collecting, validating and delivering data and split between architecture, stack and delivery; and Advanced Analytics – tasked with using data analysis methodologies including predictive modelling, machine learning algorithms, process automation and other methods to impact process and split between science, journalism and support.
What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing
1. The Senior Full Stack developer will be splitting their time initially 60% -40% between Frontend and Backend. As the team grows there will be the option to specialise in either Frontend or Backend.
2. Creating a deploy scalable and secure applications.
3. Provide guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team.
4. Lead projects from a software engineering perspective.
5. Finally this role offers the possibility of line management responsibilities in the future.(1 -2 direct reports)

What We Need From You
12. Expertise in express and React ,express, node js and Typescript
13. Experience working with oath2 (AWS Cognito or Azure AD B2C)
14. Experience in testing using Vitest, Jest, react-testing-library
15. Experience with react state management (preferable redux-toolkit or Zustand) and packages like (react-hook-form and react-query)
16. Working knowledge with either MySQL or PostgreSQL
17. Proven track record on deploying webapps on the Cloud preferably Azure.
18. Experience with Pub/Sub systems and event driven architecture (nice to have)
