Impact Air Systems Ltd is looking for a hands-on Commissioning Engineer to join our growing technical team. We specialise in pneumatic extraction, dust control, and material separation systems, delivering innovative solutions across multiple industries.
What You’ll Do
* Commission mechanical and electrical systems on new installations
* Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and effectively
* Train operators and hand over fully operational systems
* Work with Project Managers and Technical Sales Managers to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain detailed commissioning reports, snag lists, and project documentation
* Travel to sites across the UK (occasional overnight stays)
What We’re Looking For
* Mechanical and electrical knowledge with commissioning and troubleshooting experience
* Ability to read electrical diagrams and work on low-voltage systems
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Customer-focused, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Flexible regarding travel and working hours, including occasional weekends
* Desirable: PLC experience, knowledge of pneumatic systems, international project experience
