The Role
The post holder will deliver high quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses. The post holder will ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

What We'll Need You to Bring
* Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
* Required to undertake on the job training and induction
* Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Working knowledge of basic information technology.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
* SVQ2 in health care or working towards this
* Previous experience of personal care
* Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence not essential for care delivery
* Evidence of continuous professional development and commitment to lifelong learning
Contract Type
* Fixed Term or Secondment for 6 months
* Part Time
* 22 hours
Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Please note this is a fixed term post until DD/MM/YYYY. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in ICST District Nurses within Cambuslang Clinic.
