EMEA Business Development - Thermal Energy Services Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (hybrid working) As the EMEA Business Development lead for Thermal Energy Services, you will develop and deploy a standardised Thermal Energy Audit methodology and enable OpCos to identify, sell, and deliver comprehensive, insight-led solutions. You will work closely with the Thermal Energy Manager and a range of regional stakeholders to embed new ways of working and unlock sustainable, long-term commercial growth. Key Responsibilities: Drive the adoption and growth of Thermal Energy Audits as a core commercial service across EMEA. Support OpCos in identifying, qualifying, and converting customer opportunities. Participate in strategic customer engagements, including complex sales cycles. Communicate compelling customer value propositions focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and decarbonisation. Enable pull‑through opportunities into optimisation, digital, and wider decarbonisation solutions. Develop and continuously refine a standardised, scalable Thermal Energy Audit approach. Create tools, templates, methodologies and commercial frameworks that support adoption and consistency. Align the offer with the Group’s Optimise → Manage → Decarbonise strategic framework. Integrate digital capabilities to enhance insights, reporting quality, and customer value. Lead the structured rollout of the Thermal Energy Audit offer across priority OpCos. Build regional deployment plans aligned to local needs and market maturity. Support OpCos with varying capability levels to build competence and confidence. Monitor pipeline, adoption, performance, and delivery quality against targets. Design and deliver targeted training programmes for sales and service teams. Provide hands-on coaching to build technical and commercial proficiency. Create and sustain a network of local champions and subject matter experts. Embed audits as part of everyday service practices across OpCos. Work collaboratively with: OpCo Service and Sales teams, Digital / Connected Services teams, and Service & Technical CoE teams Ensure effective integration between audit outcomes and downstream delivery (projects, optimisation, digital services). Share best practice and drive consistency across the EMEA region. Experience & Qualifications: Experience in services, energy, industrial solutions, or related technical sectors (thermal/steam knowledge advantageous). Proven track record in business development, consultative sales, or service growth. Experience developing and deploying structured service offerings across multiple markets. Understanding of energy efficiency, industrial processes, or decarbonisation strategies. Experience working in a matrixed, multi-country organisation.
