Salary grade: Starting from £45+ with extra on target bonus
Hours: Full-time / 37.5 hours per week

Reports to: National Sales manager / Commercial Manager
Service area: Commercial Department
This position aims to sell and develop opportunities for existing and potential new customers throughout the sales area mentioned above.
Principal responsibilities
To implement an effective sales strategy.
To develop new sales opportunities and increase market share throughout the island of Ireland.
Provide expert support and customer care on the Fassa Bortolo products.
To deliver CPD presentations and specifications to Architects and other professional organisations.
To complete monthly project log, weekly call report, sales data base.
On site assistance as and when required.
Being in constant contact with National Sales Managers and Area Sales Managers to ensure proper alignment of commercial activities with market needs.
This position would ideally suit someone from an existing construction sales background who is looking for their next career move.
2-3 years previous sales experience of working in the building material industry is advantageous, however good knowledge and an enthusiastic attitude will also be taken into consideration;
Knowledge and understanding of the Construction industry functions and roles;
Proven sales experience;
Experience in use of IT systems e.g. Word processing, spreadsheets, internet, Excel, power point.
Time management, communication, understanding of market dynamics, proactivity.
Willing to travel with overnight stays where necessary.
