Senior Property Lawyer (Solicitor/Chartered Legal Exec./Licensed Conveyancer)
Eden is transforming the conveyancing industry. We are a growing firm seeking a Senior Property Lawyer to join our conveyancing team at our Head Office in Bristol. You will bring technical conveyancing experience and play a key role in mentoring and supervising our team of trainee and non-qualified conveyancers, helping shape the future of our legal talent while maintaining quality and client care.
In a full-time office-based role, on any given day you could be doing one or all of these things:
* Supervise, train and mentor non-qualified and trainee property lawyers handling residential property transactions from instruction to completion
* Provide day-to-day technical support, coaching and development to non-qualified and trainee property lawyers
* Perform file reviews and audits to maintain quality and compliance
* Ensure all conveyancing work is carried out in compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal requirements
* Support with caseloads during periods of absence or conflict of interest
* Use the case management system effectively to record tasks and progress and contribute to its ongoing improvement
* Manage deadlines and oversee the exchange and completion process
* Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, partners and other conveyancers
* Deliver KPIs that provide excellent customer service and satisfaction
Requirements
* At least 4+ years PQE in residential conveyancing as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
* Proven ability to supervise and mentor non-qualified or trainee property lawyers
* Evidence of recent CPD enhanced AML training
* Strong communication skills
* Strong affinity for digital technology
* Experience and competency in sale, purchase, remortgage, transfer of equity, new build, shared ownership / equity and registered / unregistered property work
* Experience of freehold and leasehold property transactions
