Company Overview:
A specialist engineering design company in the Warwick area is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support projects across multiple sectors. Our client is known for solving complex mechanical problems and delivering high:level solutions for globally recognised manufacturers.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production, ensuring technical quality and delivery on schedule
* Oversee CAD, FEA and detailed design, providing technical sign:off
* Drive project strategy, technical direction, and programme delivery across multi:disciplinary teams
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring best practices and high standards
* Manage supplier and customer relationships, ensuring requirements are met and ongoing support provided
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or above), preferably a Masters or second degree
* Extensive experience in mechanical design, CAD and simulation (SolidWorks, CATIA, FEA, MBD, MATLAB/Simulink)
* Hand calculations and analytical validation skills
* Excellent communication skills with clients, suppliers and multi:disciplinary engineering teams
