The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

Exceptional patient-centred care is at the heart of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll help patients feel good by providing clear advice, care, and a wide range of dispensing services. You will work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs, offering a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference.
Daily responsibilities
Providing health advice through focused conversations and delivering accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
* Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
* Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
* Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
* Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
* Maintaining efficient dispensary operations and minimizing losses.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support available for training if needed. Opportunities for further professional development include NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services and registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role.
