Global HR Operations COE Lead Responsibilities
The Global HR Operations COE Lead will oversee the HR Operations function, coordinate workflows, and ensure active engagement in continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires aligning HR services with overall business goals, leveraging data-driven insights, supporting employee engagement, and fostering a culture of innovation.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Managing and developing a high-performing HR Ops team
* Supervising all HR transactions, providing advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
* Ensuring all HR tickets are responded to effectively, efficiently, and confidentially
* Maintaining compliance and confidentiality of employee records
* Adhering to regulatory, legislative, and best practice processes, while driving continuous improvement and innovation
* Identifying HR Operations challenges and recommending solutions to streamline processes and mitigate risks
* Developing self-service capabilities and ensuring service consistency
* Leveraging technology and automation to enhance HR Ops shared service delivery and efficiency

Global HR Operations COE Lead Experience
To succeed in this role, you must have experience leading an HR Operations team within a global organisation, ideally within a Centre of Excellence structure, with experience in both the US and UK. CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred, along with strong experience in HR process improvements, process mapping, and setting SOPs for consistency across global HR operations.
You should have extensive experience working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment, with a track record of establishing effective HR processes and systems. Experience in HR Shared Services and innovative service delivery solutions is essential—please highlight this on your CV.
You must be professional, proactive, confident, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively, ensure high standards, and work under pressure. Excellent communication, organisational, and data-driven decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to manage change and think globally. Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle, and in process improvement initiatives are also necessary.
Experience in a global PLC is desirable. You must have firsthand experience of process improvement, reducing duplication, managing HR Helpdesk systems, and leading stakeholder outcomes. A solid understanding of how HR Operations impact other HR functions is important.
Note: Candidates must have Centre of Excellence (COE) leadership experience within HR Operations and shared services, with experience in both the UK and US clearly highlighted on their CV.
Location
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Oxford office. Candidates should reside within a commutable distance to Oxfordshire, ideally to start by 1st July 2025.
