Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Location: Burton upon Trent Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum (DOE) Performance Bonuses Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to work for one of our Children’s Residential homes based in Burton upon Trent. We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Registered Manager to lead and inspire a team, ensuring children and young people receive the highest quality care, positive role models, and a safe, nurturing environment Duties of a Registered Manager will include: Leading the daily operations of the home, ensuring consistently high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people Ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, including audits and Ofsted readiness Recruiting, supervising, and developing a high-performing, motivated care team Taking the lead on safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and staff Building strong working relationships with local authorities, schools, health services, and other stakeholders Driving continuous improvement and development across the home and organisation Managing rotas, budgets, and regulatory requirements efficiently Responding flexibly to the needs of the home, including varied shifts or sleep-ins if required Contributing to care planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding procedures Supporting with on-call duties In order to be considered for the role of Registered Manager: Recent experience working within a Children’s Residential Service at Registered Manager level A “Good” or “Outstanding” grade within recent Ofsted inspections Exceptional management & leadership skills with a passion for high-quality care Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children & Young People’s Workforce) – or equivalent Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management – or equivalent ⏰ Hours of Work 40-hour contract, 8-hour days over a 7-day period with a mixture of working hours.
