Salary: Competitive, based on the schools' pay scale (£40,000 - £50,000)
Class Size: Fewer than 20 pupils
A welcoming and well-established independent school in Islington is seeking a Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic EYFS or KS1 teacher who is passionate about early years education and wants to work in a creative, nurturing and supportive school environment with small class sizes and strong pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning experiences
Support children's development through play-based and structured learning
Assess, record and monitor pupil progress
Candidate Requirements
B.Ed, Cert Ed or PGCE
Experience teaching within EYFS or KS1
Strong classroom management and teaching skills
Ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
Excellent communication skills with pupils, parents and colleagues
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and professional development
A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to school life
