The Position: This post offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills with a broad range of patients and gain new skills within the Community Nursing teams. The successful candidate will work directly with the multi-professional team to ensure high standards of holistic patient care and support is given to patients within the community setting. The Candidate: It would be excepted the candidate will have previous health and social care experience holding an SVQ3 qualification and able to demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and support. Location, Working Pattern and Contract Duration: This post will be based at The Balfour The successful candidate will work: Full Time 37 hours per week This post is a Permanent Basis It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney. The salary for this post is on a Band 3 £28,011 - £30,230 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,654 pro rata per year, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
