An exciting opportunity for a Communications and Marketing Assistant to join a forward-thinking Housing Association based in Kent. This is a varied and creative role supporting internal and external communications across digital and print platforms. THE ROLE
You will support the delivery of the Housing Association’s communications and marketing strategy, working across campaigns, digital content, and internal engagement initiatives.
Coordinate projects and manage communications mailboxes and plans
Deliver resident-facing social media content and maintain the website
Create digital and print assets including video, photography, and graphics
Evaluate campaign performance and prepare monthly KPI reports
Support production of the residents’ magazine and weekly staff newsletters
Assist with team budget tracking and invoice processing
Contribute to the planning and delivery of staff events and campaignsTHE CANDIDATE
You will have previous experience in a similar communications or marketing role, ideally within a public sector or housing environment.
Background in communications or marketing (degree, qualification, or relevant experience)
Experience producing content for websites and social media
Excellent written English and attention to detail
Ability to coordinate projects and manage deadlines effectively
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hootsuite is desirableTHE CONTRACT
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week
8.45 – 5.15 pm Monday to Thursday, 8.45 – 4.45 pm Friday
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (until September 2026)
