Package Description Competitive salaries Company Car Excellent training & development opportunities Paid Holidays Workplace pension scheme Staff Discount Travel Loans and more… Overview of the role The primary purpose of the Field Sales Manager role is to grow the sales volume, value and margin of their Region ahead of the market, delivering/exceeding defined targets & KPI’s. This will be achieved through developing strong and trusted relationships with independent pharmacy contractors and decision makers, growing spend across product categories. The role will represent our Bestway Healthcare brands: Lexon, Wardles, and Lexon specials. The role is Field based covering the Southwest of England and South Wales. Core activities include Account management, prospecting new business, relationship management, customer negotiations and account reviews. Main Responsibilities Driver of Sales Growth Shape, develop and deliver critical path to growing existing and on-boarding new Independent accounts. Prospect and onboard New & Manage portfolio of existing accounts, maximizing sales of generic, parallel import, dressing and OTC products. Develop and implement effective sales plan to achieve personal and team targets. Identify and capitalize on upselling, cross-selling, and new product opportunities (leveraging customer data, deals, and new offerings) Manage account profitability (P&L) by maximizing volume and margin. Customer Service Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with new and existing accounts. Promote and represent the company's key brands (Lexon and Wardles). Manage day-to-day operations for Lexon & Wardles accounts, securing new business and expanding the portfolio. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally. Communication & Collaboration Share relevant market insights with the commercial buying team. Provide accurate and up-to-date pricing and stock information to customers. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer experiences. Problem Solving & Change: Ability to adapt to a fast-changing pharmacy wholesale environment. Adapt their approach to the specific needs of our customers. Work effectively within a large sales team. Embrace new processes as the business evolves. Contribute to success alongside achieving individual and collective goals. Be able to support team performance as well as hitting overall team objectives. Key knowledge and skills required: Understanding of the pharmacy industry, trends, and challenges. Ability to quickly build rapport with account holders. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills to overcome objections and secure deals. Numerate and a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail. Commitment to ethical and transparent account management. Valid UK Driving License and reside within region Thrives in a fast-paced environment (adapting to new processes and changes). Strong team player, contributing to achieving team objectives while hitting individual targets. Flexible approach for internal and external meetings, including travel and potential overnight stays.
