HGV Class 2 Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing work, and the chance to secure a permanent position after a successful twelve-week period.
Shifts:
• Working any four days out of seven
• Start times between 04:15 – 06:00
• 48 hours per week
Rates of Pay:
• £16.63 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
• Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles
• Deliver multi-temperature products to pubs and venues on a multi-drop basis
• Unload cages and stock during deliveries (manual handling required)
• Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and correctly loaded
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
• Comply with all UK traffic laws and driver regulations
Essential Skills:
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence (held for a minimum of two years)
• Minimum of two years’ experience driving Category C vehicles
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
Training Provided:
• Written and driving assessment required prior to start
• Two-hour paid induction upon completion of assessments
• Full industry-related training and ongoing support provided
