Job description
SEND Teaching Assistant
We are partnering with a supportive and welcoming SEND school in Northwood, Hillingonthat is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support across classes.
Key Responsibilities for a SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant for pupils including those with SEND
* Work collaboratively, contributing positively to the school team
* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
* Observe and assess children's progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents
* Offer constructive feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements
For this role, you will have:
* Previous experience working within a SEND school setting
* Experience working with children, with a reference to support it
* An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
* The ability to commute to Hounslow or live locally
Pay Rate: £88 - £95 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.
