Job title: Evaluation Melting Production Operator (Day Shift)

The role:
As an Evaluation Melting Production Operator, you will help drive our goals by:
1. Receive, log and track all customer and internal jobs, collect workpapers, and complete workpaper, TrakSYS and CRS entries for reporting
2. Weigh materials in and out of process, flag weight discrepancies, process internal feed to plan, melt customer jobs to a homogeneous melt, and monitor furnace operation
3. Raise Query Trackers for quality or processing issues, work with technical teams and labs on sample results, troubleshooting, and quality investigations
4. Deliver material to other departments and take ownership of shop floor improvements and housekeeping
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels
6. Good IT skills with experience using common PC and business systems, plus strong attention to detail
7. Ability to build effective working relationships and deliver practical solutions
8. Experience in training others and facilitating meetings is desirable

This is a day-shift role with 12.5-hour shifts on a 5s/4s pattern.
Due to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months
