Job Description Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Industrial Laundry Location: Watford and surrounding areas (field-based) Salary: £36,000 basic bonus Hours: Monday to Friday On-call: 1 in 4 weekends The Role We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across customer sites in Watford and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a healthy work–life balance. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault-finding, and repair of commercial and industrial laundry machinery, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer premises Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Install and commission new equipment where required Provide technical support and advice to customers Complete service reports and documentation accurately Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations Skills & Experience Electrical bias essential, with solid mechanical knowledge Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar Backgrounds considered: Industrial or commercial laundry Commercial equipment Residential white goods / domestic appliances Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good customer-facing and communication skills Full UK driving licence Package & Benefits £36,000 basic salary bonus Company vehicle (fully equipped) Door-to-door pay Overtime paid at time and a half 28 days holiday including bank holidays Pension scheme Private healthcare Monday to Friday working week 1 in 4 weekend on-call rota (paid)
