Job Title: Customer Service and Collections Agents Location: Remote/Belfast Job Type: Fixed Term Contract, 12 months with a view to go permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: OTE £26,000 comprising basic salary £23,000 with a potential quarterly bonus between £600 - £765 depending upon performance. The Role: This is a remote role and for the first 4 weeks, you are expected to attend training at our Belfast office. After the initial training period, your role will be fully working from home. A key member of the Credit Management team responsible for dealing with customers billing queries and collecting commercial debt for business customers on behalf of Northern Ireland Water. Our Collections Agents combine inbound and outbound calls to engage our customers to secure payment or where appropriate agree payment plans for those in genuine hardship. Using a combination of telephony and correspondence, Billing and Collections Agents are responsible for processing and resolving accounts at all recovery stages. Billing and Collections Agents are front-line debt management roles and are critical in ensuring that all cash targets are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. This is a role where there are opportunities to develop your skills in areas such as Litigation, Key Accounts and Aged debt management.
