We are looking for an ambitious, driven and passionate individual who is looking to develop their garment technologist career in a dynamic and expanding team at our HQ near Chester (CH5). This role will report to our Garment Technologist, and is an exciting opportunity to join a newly forming team on a journey of expansion.
What you will do:
* Ensuring all samples received are measured and workbooks are updated ahead of fit sessions
* Assist the garment technologist in fit meetings supporting typing fit notes and taking fit images
* Supporting critical path management ensuring this is up to date ahead of the critical path meetings. This includes liaising with suppliers on sample updates
* Support in QC checks
* Sample management- gathering the post and ensuring all samples are received ahead of fit sessions
* Support on following up on test reports from suppliers
* General administration duties
* Help support garment tech with setting up workbooks once tech packs have been sent to the supply base
* Help support with reviewing QC reports
* Help in pulling basic returns data ahead of returns meetings
* Taking responsibility for own personal development, working alongside line manager to create a Personal Development Plan and map out clear career path to achieve your goals.
We'd love to meet someone with:
* At least 1 years’ experience in Garment technology or product development as either a Garment technologist Admin Assistant/ product developer assistant or Assistant Garment technologist
* Someone who loves to get stuck in and has brilliant communication skills, working well both independently and within a team.
* Strong organisational skills and thrives in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and that of their direct reports where applicable.
* Strong problem solving skills, a ‘can do’ attitude to finding solutions.
* Someone with a great attitude who is willing to learn. We’d love to meet someone who has the ambition to develop and grow their career with Sisters and Seekers.
