An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Diabetic Eye Screening team based in the David Anderson Building, Foresterhill Site, Aberdeen. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic administrator to provide efficient, effective and patient-centered administrative support for our service. The successful candidate should: Have experience working in a healthcare setting Have excellent communication skills Be able to work on their own or as part of a team Demonstrate good interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people Be able to manage and prioritise their own workload Be able to work under pressure Duties include: Dealing with telephone enquiries Dealing with face to face enquiries from patients/staff/relatives Managing patient appointments Maintaining and updating patient information/records Printing patient letters for posting Assisting with referrals Working on clinic logistics in various locations Experience working within a healthcare setting is essential. The post includes the use of specialist IT packages for which training would be given. This is a 20 hour per week post.
