Technical Documentation Controller Oliver Valves Ltd, based in Knutford are seeking an experienced Technical Documentation Controller to manage the preparation, collation and on-time submission of complex technical and compliance documentation for international Oil & Gas clients. Technical Documentation Controller - Oil & Gas I Knutsford (On-site) As part of a cross-functional team, you'll play a key role in supporting global engineering projects, ensuring all documentation meets client expectations, project timelines, and regulatory standards. This is a mid-level to senior role-ideal for someone with a strong background in technical document control within engineering, manufacturing, or Oil & Gas industries. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit comprehensive document packages, including ITPs, MRBs, IOMs, and Material Certificates (e.g. EN 10204) Coordinate inputs from internal departments (Sales, Engineering, QA, Production, R&D, Purchasing, Shipping, Finance) to meet tight project deadlines Liaise directly with clients to clarify requirements, resolve documentation queries, and provide professional customer service Maintain accurate records using the company's Document Management System (DMS) Support Project Managers with status updates, reporting, and document lifecycle tracking Identify and resolve obstacles to ensure timely document and product delivery Collaborate on continuous improvement of documentation processes and tools We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in fast paced environments and has the ability to manage competing priorities.
