Description
Responding to pension enquiries such as processing retirements, transfers out and time critical events such as responding to the death of a member
Diligence in controlling and monitoring pension cases and workflows
To maintain an excellent working knowledge of the pension scheme rules
To quickly escalate to the Pensions Manager any significant problems or concerns, particularly those that have a financial implication
To assist the Pensions Manager, when necessary, in providing support to the Trustee Board
Preparation of the financial statements
Completing the Pensions Dashboard Project
To take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your own work and that of your colleagues
Diligence in querying any data inputting where there is any concern as to its accuracy
Contribute to process improvements and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pension administration.Profile
Experience in a pensions administration role
Good knowledge of UK pension legislation
Experience of working with pension administration systems
Track record of performing and checking member benefit calculations including ability to apply complex history of legacy arrangements
Professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
May be working towards an accountancy degree Job Offer
