World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC (WWT) has an opportunity for a Wireless Network Engineer on a contract basis. This is a contract role and inside IR35.
Role details
Role: Wireless Network Engineer
Contract duration: 1 year
Location: Cheshire, UK (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week onsite)
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong experience working with Cisco networking technologies across wireless, switching, routing, and security. (CCNP Enterprise and Wireless certification preferred).
* Proven track record in designing, deploying and supporting large-scale data centre and enterprise office infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE, Catalyst Centre and Cisco ISE.
* Skilled in RF planning, wireless deployments and troubleshooting both wired and wireless environments.
* Solid understanding of routing and network technologies, including BGP (IBGP/EBGP), VXLAN, LISP, DHCP, DNS, SGT.
* Comfortable working with enterprise environments that integrate Active Directory and guest access solutions.
* Experienced in creating both high-level and low-level design documentation, with proficiency in Visio and Ekahau Pro.
* Familiar with IT service management and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy and SharePoint.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented and focused on delivering a seamless end-user experience.
