An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Ophthalmology Secretarial Team. You will contribute and commit to promoting a positive team‑based attitude, striving for the highest standards of service in order to deliver excellent secretarial support to the Department, being accountable to the Assistant Service Manager.
The individual will use their initiative and be able to work with minimum supervision and prioritise working commitments as part of a team. Within the team, there will be support to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of administration. A polite, friendly manner toward patients, relatives and visitors/staff, face‑to‑face or over the telephone, is essential.
You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgement and using your own initiative. This position ensures an excellent level of Data Quality is maintained when dealing with confidential information in a sensitive manner. The role requires you to be aware of patient and staff confidentiality at all times.

Recruitment and DBS
