Role summary
Provide hands‑on domiciliary care to service users in their own homes. Support clients with personal care, mobility, meals, medication, and day‑to‑day living tasks while promoting their safety, dignity, and independence.
Key responsibilities
* Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
* Support with meal preparation and dietary needs
* Administer medication in line with care plans and monitor client well‑being
* Assist with mobility and safe transfers
* Maintain accurate care records and report concerns
* Provide companionship and support to encourage independence
* Help maintain a clean and safe living environment
Requirements
* Previous experience in care work (home care, hospice, assisted living, or similar)
* Ability to work independently in the community
* Understanding of safeguarding and person‑centred care
* Full, clean driving licence advantageous
* Relevant health and social care qualifications or training are a plus
