Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the necessary skills to handle various plumbing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Perform pipe threading and assembly as required for different projects.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
Handle heavy lifting as necessary when installing or repairing plumbing components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Provide maintenance person services as needed for remodeling or renovation projects.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Previous experience on construction sites is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work.
Additional skills in carpentry or maintenance person services are advantageous.
