Job Description:
We are seeking Children’s Residential Care Workers to join our residential services at Cambian. Our team is dedicated to creating a stable and welcoming environment where young people are central to everything we do.
The ideal candidate will be emotionally strong, empathetic, compassionate, resilient, and possess positive parenting skills. Your role involves understanding our children’s backgrounds, ensuring their safety, and adhering to all protocols and regulations. You will support children in living independently and guide them using your life experiences.
The workday can vary, including organizing activities and providing 1:1 support. We welcome enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, and caring individuals to work across Preston and surrounding areas.

Shift Pattern:
16-24 hour shifts, including sleep-ins, on a one-on-two or two-on-four basis.
A Typical Day:
The young people in our care are aged 8-18 with various behavioral and emotional needs. Responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality care and guidance
* Supporting educational engagement
* Promoting healthy lifestyles
* Participating in clinically led training
* Household duties and record keeping
* Organizing social activities and outings
* Attending meetings and therapy sessions
* Transporting young people to activities
Requirements:
* Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable but not essential qualifications and experience include NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, experience in therapeutic environments, leadership skills, and higher-level training.
