About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, just like them. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, assist the Home Manager with organising fundraising events, and encourage socialisation and engagement based on Residents’ hobbies. Your approach will always be rooted in kindness.
We are seeking someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to act. Training will be provided, and you should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns.
