Air Personnel are looking for two Commercial Managers to join their client in Oxfordshire. We are looking for one to cover the MRO side of the business and the other to Civil side We are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Commercial Manager to focus primarily on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) contracts and the Civilian side The Role: Drive Commercial/MRO Excellence This is a pivotal, high-exposure role where you will be key to the financial and contractual success of our civilian or MRO helicopter business. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex contracts—from initial sales and customisation to maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO). Your primary focus will be on: * Leading the development, negotiation, and execution of high-value contracts. * Proactively managing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring adherence to standards and safeguarding project profitability. * Acting as the primary commercial point of contact for our customers, expertly managing amendments and change orders. * Collaborating across all departments, including Sales, Design, Production, and Finance, to deliver seamless execution. This is a superb fit for a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail and a talent for identifying and mitigating commercial risks. What You'll Bring Essential: * Proven experience in a commercial, contract management, or similar business role with strong commercial acumen. * For the MRO role - In-depth understanding of the MRO environment, including Part 145 and Part CAMO regulations. * Demonstrable experience leading complex contract negotiations. * A strong understanding of financial analysis, business case development, and managing contract profitability. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build robust relationships at all levels. * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field. * Ability to obtain DBS and Security Clearance. Desirable: * Experience managing contracts exceeding £5 million in value. * Knowledge of the global aviation/aerospace industry or another complex engineering sector.
